As a matter of fact, he didn't. Rowling outed him after he died...he was in the closet his whole life. Which makes me a little bit sad.

Well, that's not necessarily true. Just because Harry didn't know it, it doesn't mean that other people didn't, either. Though on second thought, that seems exactly the kind of detail Rita Skeeter would throw out, had she known it. *shrug*

Or the wizarding community is less heteronormative than ours, however unlikely. It does seem like a juicy Rita Skeeter story.

There has been a lot of e-ink spilled about how ___-normative the wizarding world seems to be. You could get worked up about it, or you could just be amused at how geeky and awesome the chalking is. :)

Weather

Friday: Rain Showers. High of 86.

There's a new class of freshmen wandering around campus.

Overnight: Partly Cloudy. Low of 66.

Now, is it just me, or do they wear their Swat lanyards less than last year's freshmen did?

Saturday: Mostly Sunny. High of 78.

Surely this is a sign of a good year to come.
