The 7-6 defeat to rival Haverford was the Garnet’s seventh Conference loss of the season, as the team finished the year at 4-9 overall, 1-7 in Conference play.

The Swarthmore Garnet Men’s basketball team has been plagued by road woes over the past three years, failing to win a single road game in 37 attempts. But for the first time since January 24, 2007 at Washington College, the Garnet claimed victory in a true road game, defeating McDaniel Green Terror 62-51 from Westminster, MD on Wednesday night.
